What WAS on Your Plate & and WHAT'S for Dinner 7/13

HAPPY HUMP DAY!!!
Wish it was Friday

Today, pretty easy for me.
Lady #1 and #2+4: Grilled lamb in a balsamic mustard glaze; http://www.recipezazz.com/recipe/creamy ... serole-469; pecan brown rice (just rice cooked in broth, pecans, walnut oil, rosemary, and thyme) - dessert and appies provided by guests
Rice done, lamb marinated; and artichoke casserole done, just bake

Me: Grilled pork tenderloin w/mustard maple vinaigrette; baked sweet potato; grilled beets and onions w/Feta and a vinaigrette
Pork marinated, beets and onions roasted, sweet potato baked. Just reheat and done as I grill the pork.

Busy day; so, I tried to get as much done ahead as possible.

Even as hot as it is today here in NE Ohio (92°), I turned the oven on and made chicken pot pies. I always make the pie crust topping savoring by rolling some celery seeds into the top of it.

I'm making oven fried chicken with some rice and fresh green beans for tonight, it's hot hot hot here also, I have a strong above-the-oven fan that keeps my kitchen cool when it's really hot and I have my air on
