What WAS on Your Plate & WHAT'S for Dinner 12/5-12/6
Have You Been A Good Or Bad Little Boy Or Girl?
Today's Cooking ...
Just me: I took out a chicken breast, I have cranberry sauce from TDay which I froze, fontina cheese, brown rice, oranges and greens from the garden.
Thinking of pounding thin, stuffing w/herbs, cheese, and rolling. Baking and topped w/cranberry glaze. Rice and nuts tossed w/herbs on the side. Salad w/oranges, grapes and poppyseed dressing.
- Or, I could make a spicy mustard/cranberry glaze for grilled chicken. Served over rice w/nuts and herbs.
- Or, I could stuff it with cranberry and nuts; and top with a cheese sauce.
Any thoughts?

last night it was mac n' cheese.
I think I am about half way done with Christmas shopping- cards went out today. Gifts to family who is out-of-state went out already.

Today's Cooking ...
My poker/fishing friends and me are having our after Thanksgiving Dinner (10 of us, we each make a dish).
Crab stuffed deviled eggs; fried oysters and steamed crawfish w/remoulade; a basic vegetable sour cream dip w/veggies and chips; cajun turkey roulade w/andouille sausage stuffing and gravy; scalloped sweet potatoes; collards; mac/cheese; spicy apple cranberry bourbon sauce; rolls w/honey butter; pies - pumpkin and pecan
(I'm taking the potatoes [new recipe] and making a spiced mulled wine)
Yesterday I poached my chicken breast I had taken out; and, made a small batch of chicken salad w/crackers for lunch (yesterday/today) ... and the kitties got a treat too.

Last night I made vegetable meat soup with leftover roast beef, leftover chicken and leftover roast pork.
Tonight I'm making my Ground Turkey Puff Pizza http://www.recipezazz.com/recipe/my-gro ... pizza-7407, and maybe a garden salad.
