SUNDAY ... WHAT'S COOKING TODAY?

Well, not much going on here. Hopefully some yard work done; and, a simple dinner for me.

I feel like brekkie for dinner.
I know I just asparagus last night; but, I'm thinking an omlette w/smoked salmon, the rest of my asparagus, and havarti cheese. A baked stuffed tomato; and, more fruit. Picked up some delicious looking strawberries.

We often use smoked salmon for dinner on bagel, cream cheese and lox sandwiches. This is dinner once or twice a week. You know how hot and humid Florida gets in the summertime. Tom wants to make quick dinners so we don't heat up the apartment. With bagel sandwiches we have it taken care of.

Hi Laury, nice to see you. Yep; I love salmon on bagels w/cheese etc. And, I agree; easy on hot nights is nice. That is why brekkie tonight. 5 minutes on the stove; and the tomato only takes a couple of minutes under the broiler. Or, if it doesn't rain ... on the grill, even easier.
But quick!

KC, brekkie always sounds good.
Laury, love bagels and cream cheese.
PatioDad, ribs, yummmmmmm!
Tonight for us it was hoisin shrimp over rice and a nice garden salad, with everything but the celery, cheese and dressing from the garden. Also cherry pie with vanilla ice cream.

Lovin, you got me beat; sounds delish. I'm not a dessert person ... but, I do like cherry pie not and then.
