"Beer margarita. These are quite good! And not weird at all, if you're worried about the beer mixture- it gives the margarita a nice carbonation."

  • When selecting the beer, choose a cold lager beer like Corona for best results.
  • If you don't have triple sec, you can substitute other citrus liqueurs like Cointreau, Grand Marnier, or even orange juice.

  • Substitute vodka for tequila for a lighter flavor. The benefit of this substitution is that it will create a less intense flavor for those who prefer a more subtle taste.
  • Substitute ginger beer for the 7-Up for a spicier flavor. The benefit of this substitution is that it will add a depth of flavor to the margarita that will be more complex and interesting.

Mexican Street Corn Salad: This Mexican-inspired salad is a great accompaniment to the Sunkissed Beergarita. It's sweet, creamy, and slightly spicy, and the perfect side dish to round out the flavors of the margarita.

Taco Salad: This taco salad is a great way to add some crunch and flavor to the meal. It's a mix of lettuce, tomatoes, black beans, corn, and seasoned ground beef, all topped with a creamy avocado dressing. If you like beer and you like Margaritas, than this drink is for you. I like both, so I'm a Happy, Happy girl on this pre-mothers day Saturday. Sipping and drinking while I clean is my idea of FUN! Now, only if the kids would enjoy cleaning and helping......hmmmm......I don't think it's going to happen (Sad face):(. I used lime seltzer and replaced the lack of sugar that 7-Up would have with a bit of demarara sugar, otherwise followed as written. Great drink that is being very much enjoyed! Made it for Pick Me Tag Game.
