Step by Step Method
Step 1
Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
Step 2
In a bowl combine the flour and icing sugar.
Step 3
Cut in butter with a fork and mix well.
Step 4
Press mixture into an oven-proof 6 inch square pan or dish.
Step 5
Bake at 375 for 15 to 17 minutes until lightly brown.
Step 6
Spread jam evenly over baked crust.
Step 7
To make Filling: In a small bowl mix cream cheese and milk until smooth.
Step 8
Melt white chocolate chips on defrost setting in microwave at short 10 second burst, making sure to sitr between each interval.
Step 9
Note: Time it takes for chips to melt will depend on the strength of your microwave. Mine took less than 1 minute total.
Step 10
Add to cream cheese mixture and mix until smooth.
Step 11
Drop cream cheese mixture by teaspoons evenly over jam, spread carefully and refrigerate.
Step 12
Note: My layers got swirled together in this process.
Step 13
To make Chocolate Drizzle: Melt chocolate chips and butter together till smooth and drizzle over the bars.
Step 14
Store in refrigerator and cut into bars when ready to eat.
