Step by Step Method

Step 1

Preheat oven to 400 degrees. On a cutting board or over a bowl shred the block of softened Muenster cheese. In a large bowl combine until well blended the baking mix, ground sausage and shredded cheese.

Step 2

Lightly grease two cookie sheets. Shape the sausage mixture into 1 1/4 inch balls and place on greased cookie sheets. Place one olive deeply into each sausage ball. Place in preheated oven and bake for 15 to 18 minutes or until golden brown.

These were a great appie for my Halloween party! I made then up ahead and just kept them in a small crock pot on low to keep them warm. Everyone kept going back, grabbing one and popping them into their mouths! Another holiday keeper!
