"Living in GA, these were a staple. Now that I am in MN, we still love to enjoy these wonderful tasting hush puppies. I make them when I have fish. You will enjoy them!"

Step 1
Heat vegetable or canola oil in a skillet, atleast 2 inches deep.

Meanwhile dice the onions and combine all ingredients. Mix well.
Step 3
Drop by rounded teaspoons full into hot oil.
Step 4
Cook until golden brown, flip over while they cook to make sure both sides brown.
Step 5
Drain on paper towels.
