"This is a recipe I had kept from school so let me say it is old....Some of those school recipes sure were good, that is why I kept mine but they are on much faded papers at this point. I love to make these and use My Plum Dipping sauce but you could use any dipping sauce of your choice. Great as an appetizer or an addition to some other dishes or a meal on it's own. Very versatile dish. "

Step by Step Method

Step 1

Mix all ingredients together in a bowl but not the wrappers and blend well.

Step 2

Put a little bit of filling on each wonton wrapper. Dampen the edges with water and with a point facing you fold one corner up to make triangle then fold over the left and right corners on top of each other. Should look like a little hat kinda.

Step 3

Fry in hot oil till nicely brown and crispy 5-7 minutes. Drain on paper towels and serve with your favorite dipping sauce.
