"I've had this recipe for more years than I care to admit. It always gets compliments. It's one of my favorites because usually all of the ingredients are on hand. This cake is great warm from the oven or cooled."

Step by Step Method

Step 1

Cream butter, sugar and cream cheese until light and fluffy. Add eggs and vanilla, beat well.

Step 2

Add dry ingredients and beat until smooth.

Step 3

Spread batter into greased 9" X 13" pan.

Step 4

Combine topping ingredients until mixture resembles small crumbs. Sprinkle topping over cake.

Step 5

Bake at 350 degrees for 30-35 minutes. Serve warm or cold.
