Step by Step Method
Step 1
Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
Step 2
Sift all dry ingredients together in a large bowl.
Step 3
Add the blueberries or cherries and mix until well coated.
Step 4
Beat the eggs well in a small bowl.
Step 5
Add the melted butter (must use real butter)and milk.
Step 6
Quickly stir the liquid mixture into the dry mixture.
Step 7
Do not overmix as overblending will cause a tough texture.
Step 8
Fill paper muffin cups three-fourths full and sprinkle with Cinnamon and Sugar Topping.
Step 9
Bake in preheated oven 20 minutes or until brown.
