"As you know most biscuit recipes make anywhere from 8 to 12 biscuits. And some time that's just way too much for two ( or 4 ) people. While I was looking through my treasured 1996 Taste of Home Annual Recipes, I discovered this recipe that was sent into them by Sylvia McCoy of Lees Summit, Missouri. While making this recipe, I did make a couple of changes on the way that they were made. But, I don't think it affected the finished product. For higher biscuits, I double sifted the dry ingredients( I've always done that :) )If you have the above mentioned Cookbook, please check page 191 for the original recipe.I know this seems like alot of steps, but it's really easy. :)Submitted to " ZAZZ " on August 7th.,2012 (P.S. Be sure to serve with LOTS & LOTS of butter or margarine. :))"

These are very easy to prepare and really works for a small batch...I'm not the biscuit lover the hubby is...he really didn't care how they were crumbling...he prefers the flaky biscuits...but he did eat them...

These are so light, fluffy and yummy! I did use the food processor on pulse to make these. Then shaped into ball/circle and cut into 4 pieces. Baked them for 11 minutes and they were perfect for the two of us. Will definitely be keeping your recipe handy. Thank you for sharing! UPDATE...9/17/14 These beauteous biscuits never disappoint. They are consistent in their fluffiness! Had them with curried veggie soup that I put together. Always a favvy in our home.
