  • When selecting the bread, choose a thick-sliced variety that will hold together when soaked in the egg mixture.
  • Be sure to use a high-quality Irish cream liqueur for the best flavor.

  • Substitute the Baileys Irish Cream with Kahlua for a coffee-flavored French Toast. The benefit of this substitution is that it adds a unique flavor to the French Toast, making it a great option for coffee lovers.
  • Substitute the butter with coconut oil for a healthier version. The benefit of this substitution is that it is a much healthier option than butter, as it is lower in saturated fats and higher in healthy fats.

Strawberry Baileys French Toast Replace the raspberries and blueberries with 150 grams of strawberries. Omit the chocolate sauce and golden syrup and instead top with a generous dollop of strawberry jam.

Maple Bacon: Maple Bacon is a great accompaniment to this Baileys French Toast. The sweet and salty combination of the maple syrup and bacon brings out the flavors of the French Toast and adds a delicious crunch to the dish.

Fruit Salad: A light and refreshing fruit salad is the perfect side dish to this Baileys French Toast. The contrasting flavors of the sweet fruits and the savory French Toast will create a delicious balance on your plate. The added crunch of the fruit will also add texture to the dish.

This was a decadent treat for breakfast. The Baileys added flavor and a touch of sweetness. I topped mine with a bit of Irish butter, syrup, and blueberries. Wonderful!
