Any Oscar Plans?
Me, I usually just DVR the red carpet show and opening number. Too long; and, usually most of the movies I didn't even see. I'll pass; but, a couple of my friends go ALL out.

Tonight is just going to be a snacking type of night. I just made a poached egg over homemade bread with a slice of ham. So, I'm good till dinner.
I have a few shrimp to steam, 2-3 cheeses, 2 different types of sausage, crackers, I think I'll make some tomato bruschetta, grapes, strawberries; and, wine. I'm good.
I'll just make a platter late afternoon; and graze right through dinner.

Lady #3: A classic thick stuffed pork chop; sauteed broccoli rabe w/garlic and lemon; chilled beet salad w/goat cheese

What's on your table tonight?

I usually don't watch the Oscars either but I like seeing the dresses - so turn it on for a few minutes and see the fashions on Today Show on the next day. I'm not a movie goer either - so I hardly ever see any of the movies.

Today we are heading out to a museum - there is an interesting Asian exhibit I want to see at the Folk Art Museum - and I haven't been to that museum for a few years now. So lunch in Santa Fe.

Dinner - hot dogs and chips.

Love it ... yeah, I love movies; but, never the ones at the Oscars ... or very few of them.
So, low key here.
Sounds like a fun day, enjoy!

I did a trial-run of this last week, OMG this is such a great onion dip! I'm making a triple recipe to serve tonight http://www.recipezazz.com/recipe/baked-onion-dip-21361 along with cream cheese bacon wrapped jalapeno peppers and a few other goodies, no dinner tonight just munching on appetizers and watching Oscars.

Have fun everyone watching Oscar!

Don't watch the Oscars, because we never go out to the movies. We usually wait till they come on TV.
Today we had southwestern seasoned chicken breasts, spaghetti squash and salad.

If there's nothing else good on TV then I'll watch it, I tend to find it boring until the very end when they announce best picture but just to sit and watch it for hours, no way.
Tonight we had an early quick dinner of salmon and rice :D

I love that onion dip; I know I would definitely enjoy it.
I go out now and then; but, mostly watch them at home. Netflix (my friends has an account); or wait for TV. I did see the revenant on the big screen. But, most of the movies I don't even know. The revenant and star wars were the only ones I saw.
I do watch the red carpet thing for the dresses; then, usually tape one of the morning shows for a recap.
