Been clicking! With our hospitals here overflowing with flu, viruses and Covid I am super happy that this year Saskatchewan has finally approved the high dose flu shot for all seniors not just the ones in the nursing homes. Being high risk I was trying to get it for a couple of years, and more than willing to pay for it but that was a no not approved. Also finally managed to get the Pfizer Bivalent two weeks back. Should have been sooner but they were already overflow at one o'clock the first time around.

Amazes me with all the serious med allergies I have never had a problem with the flu shots. A good thing! Should help to make for a healthy winter. Once again snow and blowing snow and in places I see there are road closures. Me made it an indoor day so cozy and warm. I am so thankful my brother gave me the heads up for the digital reading of the garage temperatures so I don't have to go to the garage to check if the heater is working. Snow and ice make for easy falls!

Hope everyone had a great day! :)

I have had 5 Covid shots so far and the yearly flu shot with the last one 2 weeks ago. Great to hear about the digital reader for the garage! Will make your life a wee bit easier and safer not having to go our there!

Keep on smilin'! :-)

Wonder if the hunting trip is over and Bea is busy making sausage? And yes love that thermometer unit which I got last year, nothing like checking the temps indoors when it's cold and blowing snow! If something happens I have a back up heater out there. Has to have a special plug in but so easy on the electric bill!

Thinking of Judy and hope her recovery is going well, and agree no to adopting a pet until recovery is complete.

All clicks are in! Enjoy the day.

Clicks are all in.

A minus 30 wind chill day today. Cold is settling in having me hope pets are being safely sheltered. "Triple-dip La Niña and polar vortex to deliver a frigid start to winter, Tuesday, November 29th La Niña bringing severe cold and blizzard conditions." Going to be a long winter.

Spent some morning time in the kitchen, another loaf of Anadama Bread sees my old hand made recipe conversion to the bread maker almost perfected. Happy me!

If weather cooperates I will be having grans visit over the weekend, remembered how they love my mom's Peanut Butter Cookies https://www.recipezazz.com/recipe/grand ... okies-3278 we had a couple for lunch the rest are in the cookie jar. Been quite some time since I made cookies! Like you can't just eat one right!

Well...this morning it is -21C (-6F). Just a wee bit chilly I'd say! Not as cold as you are Gerry...yet. LOL! Your peanut butter cookie recipe is the only one I make and as a matter of fact...making them today. I use Jif's dark roast peanut butter. Absolutely wonderful! YUM!

Cuddle with your fur babies! :-)

Love that quote Patti while some days are better than others, I agree always there is good to be found!

Having been forewarned of the cold coming our way no surprise to wake to 'feels like minus 39! A little disappointed to my planned morning to work among my plants in the garage a no, but sees to a yes to kitchen time. Should be warmer this afternoon.

Had me think to one of my favorite quotes to start the day - 'Inner peace begins when you choose to be happy" Today I choose to be happy!

Clicks are in! Wishing everyone a happy day!

I too choose to be happy, joyful and thankful everyday! Temp here this morning is -15C (5F)...and it is supposed to be like this for the next few days. So the deep freeze has moved on...hopefully not going your way Gerry!

Simply decide to be happy! :-)
