Being Mrs Economical and intrigued by the flavour combination I bought 2 large boxes of Boursin, Fig and Nuts. Sort of nice but way too sweet to be on my cheese board, for my taste anyway, so any ideas what i could do with my bargains?? Do not want to make a big cheesecake as we not great lovers of it but will eat occasionally.
Any ideas gratefully received.

Do you have any recipes for sweets that use cream cheese?
Stuff chicken breasts with it.
Stuff it into jalepenos.
Stuff it in portabellos with tomato sauce for a pizza of sorts.
Omelets?
Casseroles?
Those are a few things off the top of my head.

How sad you can't get peppers!
I am sure someone will be up soon from their night of drinking to come up with more ideas! I had one windsor and coke and called it a night! I am glad I did too! No aching head! ;)

Do exactly what I did last night and crumble some up and drop it on salad. Wonderful with raspberry walnut dressing over mixed greens

Hi Ninya. The nutrition information that I've found says it only has 2g sugar per 2 tablespoons, so I think I'd try to "dilute" it by combining it with additional cream cheese and use it in a salty/savory dish. You might try spreading it on slices of ham that you can roll up, chill, and slice, for example. I think I would add some scallions and a layer of fresh spinach to the roll
Good luck. You don't want to lose the money you saved by not using it, that's for sure.

Hmmmm....I'm thinking to mix it with a bunch of chopped, cooked bacon and serve over Brussels Sprouts.

Could you use it in a dessert omelet?
