I am like to follow a vegetarian diet, I do love a pie every 6 months or so...... preferably vegetarian if I can, but once in a long while I do like a meat pie.... maybe just my heritage!
I do love a Pie Floater : As per Google ~ An Australian dish particularly common to Adelaide S.A.
It consists of a meat pie in a thick pea soup, typically with the addition of tomato sauce.

I like my pie on top of mashed potato and mushy peas ~ with Aussie tomato sauce of course!

I have never heard of a Pie Floater...but your photos has me wanting to make it. I would be all over that! As my heritage is British...we love mushy peas. Awesome photos Tis! :-)
