Trying very hard not to buy anything for me. I have plenty had plenty of parties and things going on, but for me, just sticking with things I made ahead or have on hand which has saved a lot of time for me. This week will be crazy, so I'm sure soup, maybe eggs and subway for $2 may be what I end up with. I have my party Thursday and then christmas with my son.

I wasn't planning on soup today, but I have potatoes, broth, chick peas and onions so why not. That would make a nice quick soup to have on hand for this weeks lunch or a quick bite. What I don't like will go in the freezer.

Between Christmas and New Years I intend to do some fishing, so hopefully stock up the freezer and stock up the freezer with some staples, chicken ground beef, pork tenderloins, chops etc.

Sounding like you are doing great so far Heather.

Sounds like you have everything planned out nicely Kc and the soup sounds like a delicious combination of ingredients.

Well I thought I wouldn't be buying anything, but I need some veggies. So going to the store to get some brussel sprouts, cabbage, broccoli and cauliflower. Shouldn't be to expensive. I have been craving cabbage casserole and am going to work that into some nights meal in the near future.
