What WAS on Your Plate & WHAT'S for Dinner 3/5/17-3/6/17
Today's Cooking ...
Lady #3: A new salad (crisp iceberg, rotisserie chicken, warm roasted buffalo style potatoes, celery, carrots; and, a spicy thousand island dressing w/blue cheese crumbles. Strawberry shortcake.
Me: My fritatta for breakfast was so big (I went out w/gf); I brought home half for dinner; I have plenty of greens for a salad and fruit too.

That sounds wonderful! I like the idea of using the red pepper pesto as the sauce very much! I also love the idea of adding herbs to the pizza dough.lovinretirement wrote:Today it was homemade pizza with a roasted red pepper/pesto sauce instead of tomato (husband can't have tomatoes), pepperoni and fresh mozzarella. I also add in a tablespoon of Italian seasoning in my pizza dough for a savory crust. I mix it in with the flour before I mix it in with the yeast mix.

Cookin, pork loin roast is always a great one pan dinner. I also love the leftovers from it too.
Bangers, love it. We can get them here year round at a local butchers market. But, I have to have mush peas with my bangers and mash, lol.
