HAPPY SATURDAY EVERYONE - IT'S THE WEEKEND!!!
About Time, If You Ask Me ...

Well, it looks like a bit cooler for some; but, still pretty warm considering it is the end of October.

Today's Cooking ...
Fun Day, my friends Halloween Hog Party.
Yes, they roast a whole wild hog they caught, buried in the ground. We buried it at midnight last night; w/the ceremonial beer and shot of Jack Daniels toast.

They also decorate the barn with tons of halloween stuff; and, there is live music too (the host's brother has a small bluegrass band) Kids and Adults, close to 100 people.

Me, and 2 friends are in charge of the fudge which I made yesterday (3 pans) http://www.recipezazz.com/recipe/easy-3 ... udge-23971 (I do the bottom layer dark chocolate, the top layer white chocolate died orange topped with a single candy corn; the second is semi sweet on the bottom a white died green with a single spooky edible eye on top). http://www.recipezazz.com/recipe/garlic ... ckles-2836, but my butter chips (for the pulled pork).

5 small pumpkins filled w/dip. Veggies, mini fruit skewers, mixed crackers/bread, chips, etc.
http://www.food.com/recipe/fall-fruit-dip-189948 http://www.recipezazz.com/recipe/deviled-egg-dip-21068 http://www.recipezazz.com/reci…/easy-gr ... -dip-12721 http://www.recipezazz.com/r…/roasted-re ... mmus-15756 w/sriracha; and classic ranch
- 2 dips done this am, 3 to go. Then, I'm finished.

Thx and yes, WOW, It's a great party; he's been doing it for years. My part is simple; I made my 2 friends helps me with chopping up everything last night, lol. They don't get off that easy.

The first time he had the party; was almost 20 years ago. There were maybe 20 people and I took him 2 jars of my pickles, small jars. They were such a hit; I know have to make 10 large jars, lol.

The fudge was a treat for the kids 2 years ago; and, the adults loved it so much; I'm now up to 3 trays; and, it will all be gone. Maybe 4 next year, lol.

Ellie, chicken parm sounds delish. Something I don't make too often; but, really good. Hey, cheese and pasta; how can you go wrong!!!
Enjoy your Saturday, hope you have some nice weather to get out and enjoy!

It's been great here -- NM is still warm with no fall weather in sight. Leaves are changing which are pretty and I love this season!

I do miss the leaves changing. We had those in MI. NOT in FL. It's still 88.
Change of season is pretty!! ENJOY it.

Veggies, yep, we have a fall crop and spring. Summer is too hot; but, it is definitely a perk.
88 is nice; but, I wouldn't mind a little cooler; it is supposed to be fall.

Roast sounds good; I don't eat too much red meat; but, every now and then I get a craving for it.
59, I love ramen; so, that sounds really good.
