Nothing to special for us, we grilled some Italian sausages, served on jumbo buns with frozen fries. Wow there are some wonderful meals here!

I for one love frozen fries; because I hate frying things. Just add a bit of extra spice; and, they work good for me.

HAPPY THURSDAY EVERYONE!

Today's Cooking ...

Taking a pot of chili over to my friends house w/toppings (sour cream, avocado, cilantro, cheese, etc); a salad and cornbread on the side.

She came home from work Tuesday to find a 'Dear John' letter from her dh, after 18 yrs. No sign, no idea where he went, he quit work, packed up his stuff; emptied out his bank account and left.
So, her son is coming down from college; and I'm taking dinner over.
Oh, wine will be involved as well.

I'm hoping for a few hours, she can relax a bit; and eat a good meal.

KC, chili sounds really good. Getting to be that season.
I feel really sorry for your friend. If he's that hateful to clean out their bank account and leave like a coward without so much as a face to face, she's better off without the jerk. It's fortunate for her that she has a friend like you.

Hot dogs last night for me. LOVE a good dog.
Lovin thx, I figured ... I'll help anyway I can. And yes, she is better off if he turned in to this type of person. He was never like this. Maybe midlife crisis; but, pretty shitty way to end things.

I figured since chili is her favorite food it couldn't hurt.

We had pepper steak and rice on Wednesday and tonight we had http://www.recipezazz.com/recipe/lingui ... hini-17394 -- which was good and easy. These days good and easy is where I am at!
