What WAS on your Plate & WHAT'S for Dinner Tonight 2/21

Happy Sunday!!

Well, our camp is packed up. We both have to get home early. But, ziplining and dinner was a blast. We watched a late movie and just chilled. All I can say is ... I am glad I remembered to bring ear plugs. HE snores. He is a great friend, but OMG. It was fun.
Food on the grill was awesome; and no clean up, best part.

This morning ...
Made http://www.recipezazz.com/…/my-college- ... -cream-che…; strawberries, coffee. Just finished.

Today ... Lady #3 asked for chicken noodle soup and bread. I made the broth/chicken yesterday. Bread in the ABM when I get home.

Dinner: Late work at our local office; so, just 10 minutes away. The guys are installing cabinets; and, bringing food ... probably Italian like always - since my coworkers brother owns an Italian restaurant - always good. So, nothing for me.

Nothing like chicken noodle soup and homemade bread!
Today it's garden salad, meatloaf and bite-sized chunked butternut squash roasted with salt, pepper, garlic powder, cinnamon and drizzled with honey when it was done.

I made a very thick soup today, it wasn't my intention to make it that thick but for some reason the barley swelled up like crazy!  anyway it tasted very good

we had Crock Pot Swedish Meatballs

1 can (10.5oz) cream of mushroom soup -- undiluted
1 can (14oz) beef broth
1 package (2oz) onion soup mix (Lipton)
2 tablespoons A-1 Steak Sauce with Tabasco
1/2 onion -- chopped
1 package (23oz) fully cooked chicken meatballs
1 cup (8oz) reduced-fat sour cream
1 package (12oz) wide egg noodles
dried parsley -- optional

In a lightly greased 4-qt. slow cooker, combine the soup, broth, onion soup mix, steak sauce and onion. Add meatballs; lightly toss to coat. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours.

During the last 30 minutes of cook time, stir sour cream into meatball mixture. Cover and continue cooking on low.

Cook pasta according to package directions for al dente; drain and rinse. Gently stir pasta into meatball mixture. If desired, garnish with parsley.
