Excellent Easy Basic Pancake recipe! We loved these! I was even able to freeze the extras and reheat in the microwave. I was concerned at first that the batter was too liquidy when pouring onto the pan, but they really puffed up! Freddy Cat says thanks for the Cakes. Made for the Shoot Me Please! photo forum event.

I have always used boxed pancake mixes but will never do that again. These pancakes are very easy to make and taste great. The batter rose nicely and were so light. The flavor was fresh and would be awesome topped with a fruit sauce. I did forget to mix together the dry ingredients and got a bite or two of the salt so do remember to mix. The recipe gave me 12 large pretty pancakes. :) Bea thank you so much for sharing your recipe, it's a keeper for us! Made and reviewed for the Recipebook Tag Game.
