"An easy bread recipe I like to make. It is a bit denser than my other bread recipe. I have not added the proofing time to the prep time for this recipe. Please keep in mind that flour types are different from one country to another so start off with a bit of flour and add more as needed."

I wanted bread to make sandwiches and decided on this recipe. It turned out so fluffy and soft and is totally delicious! Since I didn't have bacon drippings I used vegetable oil and didn't need to add the extra1 C. flour to get a beautiful dough. I must add a note that this bread does rise beautifully high (which obviously isn't what is pictured in my photo) Because of oven troubles I ended up having to divide my loaves so it would only rise as tall as the loaf pan instead of way above it and bake it in my toaster oven! lol. Size and shape does not affect the end product. Wish my oven was working to bake that beautiful high risen loaf though. Thanks for sharing your recipe Bea.
