Grilled Cheese and Tomato Soup
Post
by Kchurchill5 » Sat Mar 16, 2013 9:57 am
My Summer Yellow Tomato Soup; with a simple grilled cheese and bacon dipper. I used a mix of monterey jack, fontina and sharp cheddar. Topped with bacon and home made wheat bread. The outside of the bread I mixed with mayo, mustard, and butter to grill. I haven't posted this soup recipe because most people don't have access to yellow pear tomatoes year round. But is a basic red tomato soup; but added white wine, fennel, leeks, and the yellow tomatoes.
A pretty classic Grilled Cheese and Tomato Soup w/a twist; strawberries and melon salad
