Yesterday my manicurist gave me a cake pop which looks like a mummy. It's chocolate cake, smashed with frosting, rolled into a ball, stuck on a lollipop stick and dipped in white chocolate. PERFECT serving size for rich chocolate without blowing 15,000 calories.

Many California restaurants have the calories on the menus these days. Makes it easy to pass up an 1,800 calorie hot fudge sundae for a chili covered baked tater at 465 calories.

I love chili too but full disclosure, I can't find a beef chili that we love. I have a great turkey chili recipe (Rachael Ray) that I can't get enough of but I want something more traditional too. I just can't find one that I love. I made another attempt a few weeks ago and it went down the drain. Nobody finished their bowl and nobody was gonna touch the leftovers.

Using lean meat, low salt tomatoes and vegetables ... that isn't all that bad. I do love it. White chili is the plan this week.
On a low carb diet, beans are one of the carbs you can eat, since the vitamin & fiber content far outweigh the carb count
Yep!!! ;)
