Morning,

All this talk of fish makes me think that this will be dinner tonight.

It is still snowing here, 17.1F. I would think that we now have close to a foot. I usually go to the Farmer's Market on Saturday but the highways is closed. You know it is bad when they close "major" highways. I am told that it is the same North of the USA border.

Stay Safe Nin.

Morning all, I've been up since 6, but mostly working on WORK, like my paying work.

Last night, had a lighter meal, even it was pasta, but with just zucchini and walnuts. A new recipe, just getting ready to post. It was very good. It was my lazy night, so I relaxed with a g/f, jacuzzi, bottle of wine, watched stupid movies and talked till 3am. I slept in to 6 ... yes that is sleeping in for me.

Today is busy around mi casa, a few errands and a simple dinner. Left over grilled chicken, served with a warm cabbage salad with apples, onions, and most likely throw in the few walnuts leftover from last night. Topped with gorgonzola cheese and a lite vinaigrette, I may just roast a small couple of red spuds to go with it - or, I may just top the salad with the chicken. Depends on what I feel like when it is dinner.

If I have time, I want to make my chili tonight. Four (4) friends coming over for the game tomorrow. I'm making a cheese spread for crackers, one friend is bringing a baked artichoke dip, I'm doing the chili & corn bread, and the other two are roommates, so they are in charge of beer and a salad. The one roommate has attended cooking school, so I know he will make a killer salad.

No market for me today, I had a few things to use up first, but there is a local market that is pretty good. I will stop by mid week to pick up some stuff if I need to.

I'm working tonight, but not until later (loading out that Michigan Music Festival stuff we put in t'other day). However, mom's gone and I'm doing a million things around the house, so I've got some BBQ chicken thighs in the crock pot. Planning to serve with rice and some kind of vegetable, quite possibly green beans.

Today I have no idea what we will be having. Tom shops Saturday and I am not sure what he plans to use tonight.
Last night was frozen pizza. Thursday night. dinner was fantastic and a surprise. Tom had an appointment at the dental school and he knew it would be many hours so he took the day off. He went to a new barbecue restaurant which just opened and bought 2 appetizers- Brunswick stew and low country egg rolls. It was excellent and hopefully we will get some time off and go there or he will bring more take out.

Our friends have arrived and are having lunch at the beach, so they will be here probably around 4 or so. Dinner and drinks at Captain Woody's, I think.

Nin ... Snow Beast tonight, a new SyFy movie. John Schneider. Yippee! I was out up way to late last night with g/f; tonight, I need a low key night with John, 3 kitties, a warm blanket, and a glass of wine. LOL

Morning Everyone,

Church, I will go looking for "Snow Beasts". I do not think I have seen that?

Denise, the Ocean, lunch & dinner at Captain Woody's. Boy I would kill for a day like that at the moment.

MuffinLady, I do think we lose posts because we need to wait & see if it posts. I find the same problem here with my posts. I have been trying to get some one to try the meatloaf I posted here but no one has?

Felix, I know that you have posted before that you are "Home Alone". So where is you Mother off to now?

I really do not want to upset you guys but I think I am going to have to tell you because you will wonder where I am. I do not want anyone jumping to any conclusions. I am sure that this will not be the 1st time Denise has heard this. I took a fall on Friday night. So I have cracked a rib in my back. I didn't even know we had ribs in the back. Also when I went down I put my left hand forward. So that's not feeling very good but then I am right handed so that is good.

So I will be fine & I don't wish anyone to feel sorry for me. I just do not want any of you to think I am not post or ignoring anyone.

Ninner, I'm sure there is a lot of pain with a cracked rib. There has been a lot of people falling in the complex lately. One woman fell 3 different times. Tom had to unlock her door so other people can help her get up.
Tom refuses to help people up because he is scared he would move someone who shouldn't be moved and they would sue. She seems to be scared to have the para-medics come help.

Tonight and tomorrow night we are having spaghetti with frozen meatballs.

I hope that you feel better soon.

Morning all ... Again,

Well, this is my 3rd attempt at a post. I type, submit, it says it posted, but when I go to view it ... IT ISN'T there

So today football
For the first game ... http://www.recipezazz.com/recipe/daddys ... e-beef-log
For the second game ... Chili Night - http://www.food.com/recipe/sarasotas-sp ... li-390068 with sour cream, cheese and olives as a garnish; and corn bread

Snow beast was ok - Basically YETI in Canada, a new version. Not bad
Nin, take care of yourself, ribs are very painful, I had many breaks and they are not fun. I hope you feel better soon

Denise, hope you have fun with your friends. I think you guys had pretty nice weather if I remember the weather up there. Warm here 78 today, but clouds moving in. NO rain however.
