Wow guys! This thread has started off amazing! I am just blown away by all the photos that have been posted already and if this is what we have to look forward to for the whole month of January I better wear a bib so I won't get drool on myself and my keyboard .

This is my first submission - dutch apple bars, really easy and delicious! Effort to make them and cleanup is very minimal.

Bergy's Egg Foo Yong
http://www.recipezazz.com/recipe/egg-foo-yong

I'm a gravy and sauce person, but I truly think I enjoyed this more without the sauce. It just has such good flavor by itself.
I used leftover pork chop that I cubed. If I wanted to stretch this to make more servings, I think I'd add water chestnuts and maybe bean sprouts.

Papa D Those beans look wonderful They are one of my favorite foods

Willow Thanks ever so much for making my Egg Foo Yong The photos are gorgeous I hope you posted them to the recipe.

A helpful hint (I'm Lazy)
It would really help me if when you post the credit that you do it like this

That way I can just copy and paste to page 1 No big deal if you don't but it makes it a bit faster for me so I don't have to look at the recipe to get the link

Oh wow, more magazine quality photos! Love the simplicity of your photograph PapaD and willow, that first photo just drew me in, yummy! Also I am glad to meet a fellow sauce and gravy person. I would totally put some sorta "sauce" on mine too
