Dissie, I'm embarrassed to admit that the almost empty plate in the first pic is someone's "nibble" plate. They dug in before I could get pics of the food.

Thanks everyone! My dad thought it was too cute too

So I made one of Bea's bread recipe to make sandwiches with the remaining breast meat from the BBQ. This recipe is yummy! My bread turned out really soft and fluffy and unfortunately flat compared to her photos cause of oven trouble. I had to bake it in my toaster oven and flatten out (divide) my beautifully risen dough of bread to do so! Dad said he'd look for someone to come repair the oven when the holidays are over.

Thanks Bergy. Yeah, I am bummed about the stove oven being broken but glad I can bake small things in my toaster oven till then.
