KC, sorry about your fridge. I think it's time to put it out to pasture.
Tonight I made Hearty Cream of Chicken and Veggie Soup (just posted). Had chicken chunks, onion, garlic, celery, carrots, red bell pepper, jalapeno pepper, mushrooms, cumin, coriander, salt, pepper, chicken stock and 1/2 and 1/2. Had it with some toasted ciabatta rolls. Nice on a cold, windy winter day.

It's not old; they just can't figure out WHY it is sporadic. It works great and too new to get rid of.

But, I have a rental, 2+ weeks for the parts. We will see.
Soup always good, as you know I love soup.

I planned my lasagna; but, with the whole fridge fiasco; I'm just going to have more chili. I'm fine. I'm not even too hungry; Just a small bowl; and, I am fine for tonight.
Lasagna can easily be tomorrow; no worries.

Chef Jeff, lasagna sounds good. I had some from my freezer stash I planned last night; but, just at the chili. I will still be good for tomorrow night.
Shapes, love the crockpot this time of year. Long and slow, smells great all day. I love when I make caramelized onions in it; you can smell them all day long.
D., pizza is always fun.

Hump Day!
Pretty Quiet Here ...

Today's Cooking...
Lady #1+3: http://www.recipezazz.com/recipe/cheese ... sauce-9591 mixed rice blend; orange pecan green beans
(sounds decadent; but, really super easy to prepare - and, it uses in season fruit too.)
Entertaining TIP: Make the veal ahead, and chill before cooking. Blanch the beans; so, just a quick saute to finish; and, make the rice.
A quick saute of the veal and beans. The sauce just takes a few minutes as the veal rests. Great entertaining meal.

Me: Tilapia topped w/avocado, cucumber, tomato, jalapeno salsa; scallion lime brown rice; romaine and butter crisp greens w/green goddess dressing

FYI, if you aren't a veal fan; that dish can also be made with chicken or pork too.
