What WAS on Your Plate & and WHAT'S for Dinner 7/31

HAPPY LAST DAY OF JULY EVERYONE! CAN YOU BELIEVE IT WILL BE AUGUST TOMORROW - WHERE DID SUMMER GO?

Well, the last 2 days were busy here. A catered wedding on Friday for 25; so, just some soup for me, in between serving courses. Last night I went out to a Mexican place with friends.

Tonight, I have some leftover lentil/carrot salad from Thursday. I'll add some more chicken, serve over greens; make a fruit salad, and call it dinner.

What's on your plate tonight? Any fun summer grilling going on?

I don't know where July went. I must've been in a coma. It's all a blur.
Today, it's real simple. Caprese pizza on naan bread with fresh tomatoes and basil from the garden.

Hey, it doesn't get any better. My friend dropped over 5 nice maters from his green house. TOO hot for outside here; but, his controlled greenhouse ... he enjoys them all the time. Jealous. And, jealous of the north right now with fresh maters.

I think caprese is on the menu this week. I have been enjoying simple tomato/mayo sandwiches. LOVE THEM.

Dinner sounds great lovin ... yes, I think I slept through July as well!

Shel, burgers are always good. And, nothing better than burgers on the grill.
Makeit, Pesto sounds good. I just planted my new batch of basil. Pesto and Pasta, match made in heaven.
Shapes, I love the crockpot ... east and no fuss. Sounds tasty!!

Enjoy everyone; and HAPPY SUNDAY!!!
