What WAS on your Plate & What's for Dinner Tonight 12/23

2 Days and Counting!

Busy, Busy, Busy! Aren't we all?

Two friends over late for a couple of beers and Mexican food.
Burritos, salsa w/chips, Mexican beer; and Mexican spiked hot chocolate.

Me: Black bean chorizo chili, rice, and tortillas (all ready in the freezer); and beer of course.
Friend #1: Making fresh salsa, chips; and the hot chocolate
Friend #2: Bringing the condiments; cheese, avocado, jalapenos, sour cream, a green tomatillo salsa; and, so we have something healthy - fruit

Yesterday, since it was in the 50's around here, we took our son and daughter-in-law to Amish country and had Amish home cooking, including their pies. So tonight it's a large salad with rotisserie chicken on it.

Lovin, we have a Amish community here with 3 shops; gifts, veggies, meats; plus the restaurant. I love it. They have some of the best things to buy; and, the food is just good down home cooking. Their pies OMG, You have to order in NOV, to get Dec pies.

I'm making pizza tonight, I made a bunch of crusts a while back and stuck them in the freezer so quick is the name of the game tonight I need to finishing wrapping presents :D

I definitely get that. No cooking here ... unless you consider 3-4 minutes in the micro. Disposable plates too.
Great to make crusts ahead of time. Perfect for a quick meal. :)

For tonight I made two of #recipe389 omitted the chicken, to take to my DIL's tomorrow night, I'm going to dig into one of them along with some sliced roasted turkey, I also cooked a turkey and sliced it to take over also tomorrow, I'm having an early Christmas dinner by myself tonight and wrapping all my grandson's presents :D
