Lmao! You know what? I went with just tacos - well, burritos really, since we wrap up in flour tortillas - and DANG, were those good! I started in with Cmas decorations around 3pm yesterday and finished up around 8, so I was too lazy to even mess with much. I was really hungry and really happy

I don't know on tonight, DH is home "early" at 6 and we have to put up some drapes.

Muffin, I am sorry you are not feeling well. There is a lot of Flu going around in my area. I do not think it has helped that the temps. are above seasonal one minute then below the next. I makes for a breeding ground?

It has rained heavily for two days. 15mins ago it started to snow. I am glad I had Dh clean the eavestroughs before he left. With all the leaves they plug up easily.

This is the last day of November & I will start a new thread for December 1st tomorrow. Please post there.

I am making Jamie Oliver's Piri, Piri chicken from his "30 minutes cookbook". I will serve this with mashed potatoes, roasted mushrooms & broccoli. Dh is expected home for dinner but that can change at anytime.

Dinner sounds good. I love Jamie Oliver, I got one of his cook books last year as a gift.

Nope, different bar. That one is by our arena, and I'm at our theatre this week (which is about five blocks away in our convention center). We have lots of bars...both venues are right downtown.

Best surprise ever when I got to work yesterday! I only have to do shows all week, no work calls! Which means I don't have to be there before 6pm until the weekend. Tonight I'm having a mixed greens salad with pecans, strawberries, blueberries and raspberries, topped with raspberry vinaigrette.

Yesterday I bought a large piece of smoked gammon ham on special, nearly 6lbs only 2 of us to eat it so I was daydreaming of all the uses for cooked ham, such pies etc I had in mind!!! I poached it with whole onions, carrots, parsnips and seasonings and we had it last night with pease pudding (one of my favourite things with lashings of butter - horrid name for a delish dish) and lots of HOT HOT English Mustard. So today I come home from work with a skip and a merry tra-la thinking cold ham, jacket pots and a huge mustardy dressed green salad, maybe some chutney, pickled onions and the like - I am not an amused woman at all!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!   Himself has eaten every single morsel, not a rind or sinew left. :( :( He will suffer ;)
