No but as our friend you deserve our compassion and concern.
We care about you, lady. And what goes on in your life and your family is important to us too.
(((((hugs)))))
Well put Sue!
Yep. My rule of thumb is that I care about every single person I have ever made a comment to on this site.
If I didn't care I wouldn't bother making a reply.
Even if sometimes somebody was grumpy or somebody was annoying or somebody took what was said in the wrong way. We are all just human.
If I spoke to you, I care.
That's who I am and who I suspect everyone on this site is.

Once someone who didn't talk to people online asked me how I could have friends with people I never met.
I thought that was really odd. To me, it was like saying you couldn't have a loving conversation on the phone, that you had to be present to actually care. I mean, that is ridiculous. LOL
I know a great many people online who I consider to be friends that I know a great deal more about than people I have met in RL.

Okay, it's time for a group hug. :YMHUG: :D

And hey you in the peanut section!
(I heard that.) =))

It was 41 here today, so the snow and ice on roads melted. Welcome relief, I even saw some green on my lawn! But freezing rain predicted for Monday! Not good.

My BIL has to meet with a surgeon Monday about his foot. He has diabetes and his foot is bad, getting black. Not good, met my sister and him on Friday as he met with 1st surgeon, but that surgeon wants another surgeon from Fargo to come in on Monday to make a consult about it. BIL is having heart problems too, so they are worried about putting him to sleep for the surgery of removing it up to the knee. He has been on antibiotics for 7 mos, trying to deal with this foot thing, but with the non circulation it was inevitable. Tissue dies with no circulation. I am planning on meeting them on Monday at the hospital, so hopefully the weather will let us. They are thinking that he will immediately go into the hospital for the surgery and be in the hospital on Thanksgiving. Not good. I am still going to be hosting the meal, but am going to be preoccupied with Gale and his ordeal. Just very worried and trying to make a meal for my mom and my kids and then dealing with my sister and her hubby, stressful! But its ok, I can do it! ;)
:D Thanks everyone for the comments on the bird.

 Dis I hope all goes well with your BIL! Medical troubles are never fun!

Thanks everyone, you have all really brightened my day.

The hospital called them this morning to cancel appt, and they made a new one in Fargo, so they can do the surgery there, at a bigger hospital. Makes more sense just in case something happens with his heart. If you have heart trouble around here they send you to Fargo or St Cloud, both bigger towns with cardiology wings. They are heading to Fargo on Wednesday.

We lucked out and didn't get any of that freezing rain! We had flurries this morning and wow its cold out there! Right now its 10 degrees with windchill of -8. The wind is blowing hard too! 20-30 mph wind gusts. Staying inside today! I even hate to let the dogs out its so windy and cold!

Dissie I'm so sorry to hear about your BIL. Keep us posted on what the doctors say, and add me to that big group hug.

Thanks Deely! He is such a great guy. You couldn't meet a nicer guy. I feel so sorry for him. But he deals with it so great, and still has such a great attitude. He is really amazing.

Dis, hope everything goes as well as it can. Sorry.

We got some well needed rain. Way more, just north of us. Nearly 4"; we were about 1". But, I'll take it. Cooling off for T-day, which will be sort of nice.

My turkey is almost thawed, done by tomorrow. Ham, ready too. Spuds made; and just left with the green bean casserole; and reheating. Easy Peasy day.

But, I am cooking a T-day for Lady #3 tomorrow. Not the usual. Ham, mac and cheese, brussels, buttermilk pie, cranberry relish vs sauce. But, prepped it all today; so, pretty well all set.

Otherwise, a pretty average day around mi casa.

Started snowing here at 6:30AM today, we have about 3 inches on the ground. Calling for 3 to 8 inches. The roads are not bad yet but once the temps fall tonight they will freeze. My wife had to work today and gets off about 8PM, hope the freeze holds off til she gets home.
Have a Happy Thanksgiving in the US.
