I played with lots of recipes and developed one that works every time with my ABM. So if you haven't found the right one you might want to give this a try:
This is our "everyday bread" but I do make other kinds as well.

Thanks, Crocus. I'm going to make this today. I make lots of different breads but haven't found an "everyday bread" that we love. You may have ended my search.

I've been really lazy about my picture taking lately. My problem with regular food is I like my food HOT. By the time I mess around and take pictures, it's cold.

I can take pictures of cold bread or half a loaf of bread.

Boy I'm with you on that, taking photos at dinner time just isn't my thing. If I do take one it's a quick one, and not my best work. Bread and desserts are another thing! Plan to make my SFO Sourdough this afternoon . . . has a unique folding method rather than kneading, so will take photos to post with the recipe!

Guys I wished I had taken a pic. But my camera messed up days ago. Something with the memory card. Pics are there, but computer won't see them! GRRRRRR. I got a new one last night and its all working good, but I got like 3 days of food on that memory card that the computer won't see.

I was taking pics to add to my own recipes and that irks me to no end!
But I bought more bread flour, powdered milk and yeast and am ready to try more recipes! I will post some pics!

Sorry Dissie, I'm not any help with the memory card.
My bread is in the machine. I'm going to the way the house smells later.

OK folks... this is YUMMY bread. Light, soft texture and flavor. Thanks, Crocus!!!! This is a winner. Of course my jeans are going to disagree.

As you can see, my loaf raised lopsided. I just HAD to cut the top part off... to sample.
Can you see the fine texture of the bread? Sooooooooo good!
