Davey Jones has passed away due to a heart attack. Lots of teen aged girls favorite Monkee in the 1960s

I seen a clip on The View this morning from when The Monkies were on their show in 2011. They sang DayDream Believer. Boy oh boy were they "old" looking. Peter looked like he had had a stroke or something. And, my favorite of all Mickey....looked postively ancient. I prefer to remember them when they had their show back in the early 60's...maybe early 70's? Don't remember exactly.
I would guess hard living ages you like that.

Mickey's bald as an egg now. Remember those curls?
The show was on around 1966-67, but the group was together until the early 70s. Some of the oldies channels like MeTV show reruns now and then. Lots of fun. I guess time doesn't stand still for anyone.

Well we all have aged and 66 is way too young to be gone. Rest in Peace.

He was such a little guy, you wouldn't think he'd be the one to have a heart attack, would you? I guess you never know.

I'm 51, and I was going to marry Davey Jones until I got taller than him in the 5th grade, so then I was going to marry David Cassidy, but that was all unrequited and stuff.
Davey Jones was adorable. Dang.
