Same here Kit,

I couldn't even breathe on my way in and out of the vehicle tonight, plus we have a severe wind ans snow storm. Strange, usually when it snows it is milder, not the case today!!!! BRRRRR...... I am sitting at work with my parka on, and I'm inside, lol....

So I should not whine about how cold it is here. I cannot even imagine being that cold! And yeah...I'd be moving forthwith. Stay as warm as you can!

I drove to my hairdresser in Enderby, 45 minute drive. When I left home it was -16C the road was icy but not bad. When I got 20 minutes from home it started to snow and the snow was blowing across the road so you couldn't see where the road started and ended. Transport trucks behind me - No way! I pulled over and let them( 3 of them ) pass. Going home it was even worse but when I got closeer to home no snowfall but it was now -18C. I believe Winter has arrived. Good news is that I made It.

Dd was telling me how cold it was out there. Asked her if she was doing anything after work? She said it was to cold to go anywhere. She did make it to the Mall in the evening, lol.

Yikes. Minus 30ºC here with a minus 43ºC windchill. My sister is complaining where she lives the windchill is minus 50. Once it hits minus 40 it doesn't much matter, it is damned cold.

We've had a very nice winter up to now and when you live on the Canadian prairies you know your going to get it sometime before March.

Stay off Portage & Main Kitten. I lived in Winnipeg - I think it was about 1980 there was a winter where it was below minus 30 for over a month straight. And I had to go to work every day. Today I am staying home and keeping warm.
