Zazz Site Updates: Planned Changes & Your Input
We're working on improving the site for you!
Ads:
Yesterday, we turned off the tiny video that runs constantly on the bottom of every page. It seemed to me that it got in the way a lot. What do you think? Is this an improvement, or did you like having that video?

We're working on improving the relevancy of search. We'll post here to get your feedback when it's ready.
Your Input:
What's the single biggest irritation you have with Zazz? What's the one thing we could add or improve that would delight you and make you want to share it with others?

Also very happy you are working on that search option!!! It is very annoying, lol.
Another thing that I think would be lovely is that if there was a feature that you could delete more than a few zmail at a time. Like a "delete all" button. Presently you can only delete 12 at one time.
I love that you are looking for our input!!!

Agreed on search.

Deleting more than 12 zmail at a time. Noted. Will talk to our developer.
Please keep the input coming.

We reduced the opaqueness (is that a word?) of the main images that slide or rotate on the top of the homepage.
We also changed the font to something a little cleaner and modern.
The changes are still super slow because we've been working on 'backend infrastructure'. We're learning a lot in the process.

This one is tricky to test. It used to log you out automatically after 2 hours. It's now set to infinite. If you see or experience any issues, please let us know.

We're considering removing the RIP from people's usernames and putting a note in their biography instead. We want to remember those members and their memory is and will be honoured. At the same time, we don't want people looking through the recipes to get the sense that they're visiting a cemetery that they didn't intend to stumble into.
Does anyone have any ideas on a better way to implement this?
