Trouble posting photo to my new recipe

I posted a new recipe which I am trying to post a photo to. Every time I try to upload it, it stops part way through. When I click on "submit", it says I must choose a photo to upload. Then when I click on the part that says how to upload a photo, it takes me to the section with instructions on how to post a new recipe. Also, I have spent 15 minutes trying in vain to find the "Help & Suggestions" forum. I have looked everywhere. I am finding this new format much more difficult to navigate. I think it would have been better to leave well enough alone. As they say, "If it ain't broke, don't fix it".

Hi lovinretirement! I have sent your post to the team. If you scroll to the top left of your page, under the colored board you will see the words Board Index, click on that and it will take you to all the different boards, scroll all the way down and on the bottom you will find the help board. Hope this helps. Here is the link to the help board viewforum.php?f=114

I went to the "board index" like you suggested and clicked on it and went clear to the bottom and there was no "help" board. So I clicked on your link for the help board and it came up. So I went back to the board index, clicked on it and scrolled clear to the bottom and it was there. But only after I had clicked on your link. It's not there before that.

Well that's odd.. we were left with many glitches after the launch and we are still working to get them fixed I guess this is one more..

We have not experienced not being able to upload a photo. What size is the file you are trying to upload?

It says 5 mb. Also I can't find how to upload a photo for a recipe. I'm trying to upload directly from my computer as I always had in the past.

Hi Lovinretirement. Photos should be optimized much smaller than 5 M. I know you have uploaded photos before, so is there a difference in the photos size that you are uploaded between then and now? Is your photo a jpg file ext? You can use and online image optimizer to ensure photos are optimized for web. For example: http://jpeg-optimizer.com/

Also, I see that the window for Image Posting Instructions are same as Recipe Posting Instructions so we will need to correct that link so that the image uploading instructions are posted.
