I spent the day cleaning & packing since the landlord had called saying someone would be by to see the house today. So far they have not shown up, and the window was 4:30-6. Good thing they didn't show up right on time, as it happens, since my dog decided to pee on the carpet and my dd didn't bother to clean her room or bathroom (both were horrible, trying to get her to keep them clean is a nightmare).

She is in there cleaning now, I am highly irritated with her and the dog, and still no sign of the potential renters.

Well that's no fun waiting around. Kinda Sucks doesn't it?
Sorry, been there with potential buyers with the house too. PIA.

Hope they finally came. NO rain, here, but he** of a lighting storm. I guess I can get on the grill after all.

Nope, no call and no show. The landlord didn't contact me either. Very annoying as now I will have to go through this again all week as more people call about the rental.

I really could have spent the past hour and a half getting other things done. Now I still don't know if I should leave as who knows - they might show up at the last minute, even though it is already late.

Sorry to be so whiny about my move - I hope to have more cheerful things to say once I am actually moved out and into my new home :)

Raining today. Bill came back from the bike shop with a brain freeze from the gas station quick shop. He did a suicide freeze. Looks like a rainbow!
I wish I could see a rainbow outside, but just hard rain pelting the house.
No antiques flea shows today.
Supposed to be ok tomorrow, so I may drive down to Burlington KY. and have a peek at that one (it starts tomorrow). The Springfield Flea started today. Maybe it will dry out by next week.
I hope either show is not full of mud tomorrow... :/

Sitting here listening to thunder and watching the lighting. Lots of sun between storms.
Working on sorting out my cookbooks on my computer, looks like it is going to take hours, oh well back to work!

Was just browsing some blogs online that make homemade health & beauty stuff. One gal recommends using a hair conditioner made with avocado, olive oil and lemon juice. Says it makes her long hair tangle free.
It showed a picture.
I looked at the picture and thought to myself, "Yeah, but. In the time you could have detangled your hair, you will be still trying to get the guacamole chunks off the top of your head." =))
I'd do avocado oil, but not just squished up avocado. ;)

I got some errands run today that I really needed to get done earlier this afternoon Once I got home, I had been all set to start packing and bam - power out for what felt like ages. It was so dark in the house, even with some candles lit - couldn't really do much at all. It was a relief once the power was restored, although by then I didn't feel like doing much of anything.

We had a busy day, up at 6, had lots of errands, I tried to go see the DR, but as we got there, 3 ambulances pulled in, so of course they take the serious first. Waited an hour and didn't even get called back to register yet. So left and I will go back next weekend. I have a bladder infection, but am handling it fine with cranberry juice, and the rash is starting to come back, so was going to get more prednisone. Have an appt with specialist but its not for 3 more months. INSANE! Any way that was 3 hours wasted going to DR, but not going to DR. Hubby leaves for GA tomorrow AM. SO had to get clothes washed and packed. I don't know if I ever mentioned that lots of my stuff is still in GA in a storage unit. So he is going to get it. Going to be nice to have my "stuff" again. Lots of my dishes are in GA. But I brought the basics, so we made do!

Not a good idea to wait on that bladder infection, Diss.
It's how my M-I-L passed away.

What? I am taking cranberry pills and drinking cranberry juice. It no longer hurts when I go and it seems ok now...

What do you mean die?
