So happy to hear about Sasha!!! :-) There has been a temporary fix to the water issue. It took a couple of days before we had any water...but we do now. We don't have good water pressure but I am not boiling water all day...lol!

I has been a quick summer vacation for you Misa, but the up side is on Tuesday...your kiddos will be so happy to see you!! :-)

Your quote right on the mark Patti. So happy to know you no longer have to spend the day boiling water. On the home front temps down to 2 C / 35.6 °F this morning, back to July temperatures are predicted. I hope you have a happy work year Misa, and also manage to get in some beading.

Turned on the heat for about 15 minutes to take off the chill this morning, obviously I was not the only one, the puppies headed to their fav registers to enjoy a bit of warm. Way to early to be feeling like fall mornings!

Love your quote Gerry! :-) Our daytime temps are a lot cooler than our usual July weather. Not too many over the top high temps lately that have you running for cool spaces.

We are back and forth to the wound clinic in town for DH hand. He was bitten by a Brown Recluse Spider. It is really ugly and disturbing. But he is in excellent care as that is all the do there.

Clicks all in.

So sorry to hear about the spider bite Patti, sending healing prayers that healing happens and sees his hand healed and home time for both of you.

Hard to believe it's the end of July, weather network here has it ending with severe thunder storms, so far map sees us at the edge. City this afternoon. No words have been written that are truer than your quote Gerry!!! I struggle with that everyday!

Just a very light smoke haze this morning. No fires burning near us as far as I know. And no thunderstorms predicted for the foreseeable future, which is a big blessing.

Love that quote Patti, I find uplifting quotes are a great way to start the day. Hope your visit to the wound clinic is seeing to good results.

Appointment yesterday saw to blocked off construction with seemingly no entry to clinic, Cathy found pushing the 'roped' area down saw us in, followed by worker saying sorry and helped getting it back in place. Getting out another matter as his fix barely allowed for pushing it down enough for my right foot to make it. Four tries to manage, fast forward saw to hearing a man at the light going to pick up his wife say " I saw that and wanted to help" I had just said I hope no one saw that!

Oh my Gerry...your sojourn to your appointment does not sound too good for either you or Cathy! Construction Nightmare! Hope you both are all right after that!!!

I looked at DH's wound yesterday, and it is not pretty at all. Healing (I think) but it is going to take a lot of time. It started off by being very small and now the open wound is the size of a toonie! Off to the wound clinic again this morning. Hoping all will be well when it is all said and done!

All clicked.

Your beautiful quote touches the heart and wishing the same for you.

I am so sorry Patti, know that a spider bite is one that needs very careful attention and takes time for antibiotics to work, and may see need of a stronger med.

No surprise yesterday saw to a slowed down day with only essentials, it is amazing how how many essentials there are when you have fur babies and garden. Only the absolute pots saw watering happening.

My beautiful Mainecoon is on meds, now down to two a day. He's so super loving, using the videos for advice after a number of pills he is resisting swallowing. City day as it was missed the number one on the list - a pill popper. My dear friend and groomer is going to the city and will pick one up. After all the nose wiping, the puffers, and helping him groom he still loves me! The pill popper should help.
