Clicks are done!

Just over a bug I picked up last week, been slow going! Over the years I have been trying to get my holiday recipes organized, thinking Pot Luck 2022 will make future Christmas holiday recipes just a click away. So time consuming to do searches. This coming year the plan is to list new ones as I add them to my Holiday Cook Book making the 2023 Christmas at Potluck super easy. No need to redo other than the link!

As I mentioned been trying to think of your Curry to add to my freezer stash, going through recipes and there it was ... Madhur Jeffreys Prawn Curry! Been awhile since I made it so happy me!

Weather is going to be a major factor in planing for the holidays, this morning sees us under a Extreme Cold Warning ."Extremely cold wind chill values of minus 40 to minus 50 are occurring this morning." Unfortunately sounds like it could get worse. When it gets cold Saskatchewan winds cut to the bone.

Have the essentials listed on my grocery list now off to check the flyer to finish and have it done.

Happy to hear you are feeling better Gerry! :-) Sure hope you have battened down the hatches...knowing your temps are even colder than we are. I have been in -40's and it surely is not pleasant. Yup...soups are the way to go these days here...jam packed with veggies of all kinds. Keep warm my friend! :-)

Thinking of you Patti, when storms hit you are so isolated but thankfully you have a wood stove should power go out in these bitter cold temps. I knew the wind has picked but was not wanting to see tonight's Red Alert. "Issued at 15:11 Thursday 22 December 2022 Extremely cold wind chill values of minus 40 to minus 50 are occurring." Small wonder my joints are screaming at me, seems worse when I am cold! Saw to doing quiet chores today. Take care and stay safe.

Your quote is so very true Gerry! Our temps are rising and hoping yours will be too very soon! I hear you about the joints! Hope your fur babies are doing well and that the feral one is still coming for food! Thank goodness I have pee pads down as my wee ones would not go outside. But this morning all that is changing with the warmer temp (-17C)...will give it a try at least. Hope your joints will ease up soon!

An early to bed with the mattress pad on high seems to have eased the joints a bit but what I really need is that MRI on my back and the appointment to follow for "then we'll talk" Meanwhile I take care and am thankful to get to the essentials. All too slowly which is so time consuming as know when to stop! When one lives alone have to be careful! He did say young people contend with this as well soo.

Still have the stop through, the little grey timid one had such frosty whiskers yesterday that I could about cry for these neglected furbabies. How can I not feed them them in these temps with snow. So if you don't see me I just might be in 'Harboring Town Jail' :!:

Yesterday fingers were also really not good, they had me do the one post over at Potluck three times going between two windows and upteen tabs. Must be an easier way? On the plus side I can now find the recipes!

As for the cold, it's discouraging it's nine thirty and we are still feels like minus 46, I have to wonder how cold it got last night!

Your quote is spot on! I can attest to that! -7C this morning and our snow prediction is for 2 days of it.
