Oh nice! I get email from them daily and click on it there!
Don't have any pets of my own, but I love visiting and seeing everyone's fur babies!

Been clicking! Hi to the new comers! Here have a fairly full house, after seventeen years of no I just can't lose another pet gran came with a posting of puppies saying "you and grandpa need a dog" The Shelter was closed the day we had the appointment to see the puppies, so 1 Bichon a beautiful bundle of fur looking like a teddy bear came home with us, was told I needed company and gifted with a beautiful chihuahua who is attached to my hip, lost our 19 year old Bandit aka Miss Kitty this spring, still doing well and looking beautiful is the most loving 19 year old Main coone Fluffy. Both family rescues.

Now for the rest of the story, winter of 2020 someone dumped a beautiful black and white kitten in 30 and 40 below weather - seeing her I hoped her home was close by. Come May the skinniest young cat basically still a kitten herself had five kittens under my deck. By the time they came out from under it was what chance would the skinniest mother I had ever seen with five nursing kittens have at the Shelter, so not the way to go.

Sooo yes I neutered them all as well as saw to their shots. A gran gave one an awesome home, daughter is looking after mom and two babies for me and ... for me young kittens not in the plan but better then the alternative. So also have 2 two year old kittens one a shiny black the other a deep charcoal with not a white hair to be seen! Have given me a run for my money but are real loves and pretty well settled down ... they are BIG cats! During the week I 'baby sit' daughter's sweet little Pomeranian. So yes animal lover here too!

Nothing like taking time to rest and perusing seed catalogues with the bright colours of the plants to take away the dreariness of the winter. Here in the bush we only see white, grey and dark green for 6 months. So I take cut off the root ends of carrots and sprout them in the kitchen for a fresh green colour. Hope you too are having a wonderful weekend! :-)

Be happy! :-)
