No. Not yet. I always just make it, as I have made it so many times and perfected it for us! Next time I make it I am going to have to jot it down as I go!
You would love it Dissie! Really good stuff!!!
The lime and tequila really add to the flavor! ;)

Chocolatl wrote:I like it Cincinnati style, over pasta, with plenty of onions and shredded cheese on top. Spicy but not too spicy--I like to have flavor, not just heat. Definitely venison if I can get it, but otherwise coarsely ground beef and/or chunks of beef diced fairly small. DH is usually the chef when we make it, so there are always gallons!

We freeze the extra.
We saw a Cook's Country episode where the chili was thickened with a couple of spoonfuls of Jiffy cornbread mix. We tried it and it was wonderful, so we do that now.
I like Cinncinnati style too!

Ok I am now sitting here tapping both feet in anticipation for these great sounding chili recipes.
I have rarely found a chili that I thought was wonderful and I have never found one yet that I have made at home that has said "you found it!" I do like chili - and I will eat it with or without beans, both types are good.
I really hope Swedish will share - a recipe you haven't altered in 41 years has to be pretty damn good.

For some reason I always have to have a bit of chocolate after chili, and italian food!
Jude I put a square of unsweetened baking chocolate IN my chili while it's simmering. You can't really taste the chocolate but it really takes the chili to a new level.
