All my shopping or canning, etc is done for neighbors. I made some pickles for some, canned jellies for others, some special mustard, love honey and some spices.

Also made a set of stained glass coasters for 4 friends, A set of 4 each. They turned out really well.

Got my son a few items, but also need to fill his stocking. Usually BP (gas card), publix card, starbucks, a few things like socks, jeans, tees, shoes, etc. And he usually goes with me to pick out a few items. But big items I got.

4 co-workers I'm done with, simple items $10 each. So My son I usually finish up the last week, because it is when he finally tells me what he wants.

He is mostly the only one I buy for other than a few misc items which I got Black Friday.
--------------------------
Tree is up, lights are up. I made my month plan because I am cooking catering quite a few meals/parties and I'm having 2 parties. 1 at my house, 1 at my friends. And I will be working more hours, so a plan is an absolute must for me to get everything organized.

I don't bake much. I baked my molasses cookies and they are in a tin and made my bourbon rum balls. Those are probably the only 2 I will make. Most I will give a way, because I don't eat sweets, but I will nibble on the rum balls.

So, baking is pretty much done; plan is made; decorations are up and shopping is mostly done.

Wrapping does not happen for another week or so. My gifts to go to my friends out of state will be sent out last minute unfortunately, but that was my own fault. I'm waiting on some finishing liquid for the stained glass which was backordered. I waited too late to order.

So, I guess I'm doing OK right now.

aww, I had some catching up to do, and loved every minute & Post!

I was thinking about where to get some pretty gift wrap on it for this years prezzies, and it suddenly occurred to me that I should try to look at Sams~they have great deals there, on the most part, so sometime over the weekend I will check there, wish me luck!

Bea, I saw the list of goodies you have made this week~and you call this a "week off" ??! Great baking GF!

Marion, Hopefully you can catch up on the baking~not an easy task to take over, but I bet your DH enjoys the efforts ;)

Deely, that Hotel looks wonderful! I hope and you and R have a beautiful, safe Holiday Season Sweets!

Sissy! lol, bet you ate cookies for dinner! Good job on the kickstart! You got me beat already!

JustSandy, Sounds as though, even though it will be a different Christmas Season for you and your Hubby, it will be a fun one! Who can resist, when the opportunity comes, to watch a lil one, with all the excitement, unwrap those gifts discovered under the Tree Christmas Morn!

Denise, your tree is GORGEOUS! Hopefully ours will be up by weekends end.

LMAO Felix! Tis the Season!

Great work KC! You are always so organized, I just love it!

LOL No Sissy, I ate leftovers for dinner not cookies. I did sample them while baking though. Not sure if I will do more baking today or just clean house. Both need to be done.

 I used to decorate my tree exactly like this. HOWEVER I did it all in one day. It's an easy way to put lots of lights on an artificial tree. Now my tree is prelit. woooooooo hoooooooooooo I HATE putting lights on a tree.

No tree this year...But my shopping is done..I buy only for my son and grandkids. We will be having Prime Rib this year for christmas dinner. Our Grandaughter is expecting a little girl right around christmas. So I'll be a great Grandma WOOHOO another little one to spoil. And I picked up a few things for my closest friends...So be looking in the mail for something. I'd love a tree but my silly cats will just go straight up it. Maybe a smaller one. I also made some gifts, made strawberry jam, and yes lots of baking to do. I started baking and freezing last week. So I'm a little head of the game. And nest week I plan on sending out baked goods to some friends too!!
And if anyone has a wonderful candy recipe please share...I'd like to make to take to the VA Hospital for the guys....And a fudge recipe too!!
