Flu is the pits. I got my flu shot. I hate admitting I am getting to the age that I need to worry about things like that, but thats life I guess. And its going by quickly! Feels like yesterday I was 30!
Had a very relaxing Sunday. A bit of shopping with hubby and then just relaxing. Gearing up for another 6 day week. I refuse to work the Sundays. Some people are taking Saturdays off and signing up for Sunday, but since hubby has to work Saturday, we need our one day together.
Bea I got a steal on some baby back ribs today, so I am going to be making your recipe you posted in the photo forum. Looks so delicious, I got so excited when I saw how cheap they were today and immediately thought of your recipe and pics!

Thanks for the well wishes for Wayne everyone, you are all too kind. I got my flu shot but Wayne didn't, when he is feeling better, I will do the ole' "I Told You SO" lol, lol.....

Good thing family stayed over instead of heading back yesterday afternoon, a winter storm has caused havic across the southern prairies making for whiteouts and very poor road conditons. Hoping everyone thinks twice before travelling - http://regina.ctvnews.ca/winter-storm-s ... -1.1179985 On a happier note I get an extra day with son and his adorable new puppy. Our puppies are having a great time, not sure who is enjoying it more the puppies or me!

I think that is the storm headed for us on Tues. and Wed. we are ready for it!
Not much happened over the weekend, my youngest turned 20 on the 3rd. She found an apartment so she will be moving out of her sisters today.
I have not been doing much cooking since I am having a relaspe of my CIDP, kinda makes it hard to do much cooking and my wife is working so many hours she is seldom here any more. I hope tp get back to cooking and photographing foods soon.

Today, I've went to Wal-mart very early this morning to to pick up a few things. I really hate going there for many reasons!!! But the prices are cheaper, and they have a few items there that the other grocery stores don't have. What makes me mad about wal-mart is that they have about 20 plus check out lanes and only 2 are open....one 10 items or less checkout and one regular checkout lane!! 
There are always 10 people deep with carts waiting to get checked out. It doesn't do any good to complain to the manager(s). I think they know they have people by the short hairs because of prices. Customer service is a thing of the past, I believe!I do feel very sorry for the check out people because they get "hated on" from some of the waiting customers. They do not deserve that. Anyway, I have to take a cooler in the store with me in the summer so my cold stuff won't melt or get to warm while I'm waiting, waiting, .....and waiting in line.
