That's a really nice coffee maker Denise! I use a coffee press and it is really good for camping! Or the coffee would be instant and not nearly as good smelling!!!! Or that engine sludge the fishermen were drinking...yeck! :o
Will check out one of those Coleman's! Thanks for the photo!!!! :D

Jelly, I might take up camping if I can go with you and Denise.
I am actually quite excited. I love that place and they have it all decked for Cmas with all the trees wrapped in lights. It's going to be fun! And then we'll head back home, crack open the wine and start a fire in the fire pit and crank up the music and finish up the evening with Baileys & Coffee. I can't wait

Haha! Dave is a great cook, no worries there. He always makes his sausage and egg scramble with cheese and jalapeno, potatoes, etc. We don't mess around when it comes to camping, LOL.

Totally off topic, I'll tie it back in with the sausage and mention that we'll be having hash brown quiche on Cmas morning

What's also great about it is that you can use it at home if you lose power. We are set up with gas grill, charcoal grill and the camp stove. So if we lose power, I still get good coffee

Oh boy...y'all are killing me with this "camping" talk!! That's not camping!

We grew up camping for real. Like, middle of the national forest, no electricity, no water unless we brought it, no stove, no camper...just a tent, a campfire, and a hole we dug for a toilet. For a month. Every spring. THAT's camping! :D

Although as we got older my parents did buy a Coleman stove for cooking. Made it easier for mom to feed four kids in the middle of the woods.

LOL, we used to do the primitive camping. No electricity, tent and the sleeping bags. We went every weekend, had it down to a fine science. But after age 40, I put my foot down. Woke up one morning with bruises all up and down my sides. Got an air mattress and a few niceties, LOL. We still don't do electricity. DH has a coronary about being next to people that want to light up the entire woods

We have a kick ass generator so we don't have to worry about losing power. ;)
But I am going to take a look at that coffee maker for when we go fishing and camping! The coffee press works great and we have water left over for clean up. So I usually get a pot going so we have plenty! :D

Yeppers did that too, but now a days I like comfort!!! We have a really nice two tier air mattress and sheets and comforters!!!! We don't do electricity either. Who needs it when you have propane! :D
It is fun to eat outdoors and sit around a campfire!!! Even if we don't cook over it!
Oh...except marshmellos!
Can't wait til summer!!!! Not too bad this winter so I really can't complain. No snow, temps in the 30s and sunshine! Lovely Christmas! :D
