Looks wonderful Shadows, wondering how I could get you and your wife, and turkey here for Thanksgiving! Gorgeous! Good job!
It was 41 here today, so the snow and ice on roads melted. Welcome relief, I even saw some green on my lawn! But freezing rain predicted for Monday! Not good.

My BIL has to meet with a surgeon Monday about his foot. He has diabetes and his foot is bad, getting black. Not good, met my sister and him on Friday as he met with 1st surgeon, but that surgeon wants another surgeon from Fargo to come in on Monday to make a consult about it. BIL is having heart problems too, so they are worried about putting him to sleep for the surgery of removing it up to the knee. He has been on antibiotics for 7 mos, trying to deal with this foot thing, but with the non circulation it was inevitable. Tissue dies with no circulation. I am planning on meeting them on Monday at the hospital, so hopefully the weather will let us. They are thinking that he will immediately go into the hospital for the surgery and be in the hospital on Thanksgiving. Not good. I am still going to be hosting the meal, but am going to be preoccupied with Gale and his ordeal. Just very worried and trying to make a meal for my mom and my kids and then dealing with my sister and her hubby, stressful! But its ok, I can do it! ;)

Dis, I am so sorry about everything. My MIL had a toe removed due to diabetes, you have to be really careful. She wasn't. I hope all is ok. Sorry to hear. I hope everything is ok.

Family issues are never easy are they? I hope you can still manage to enjoy T-day. Prayers to your BIL; hope it goes well.

Been there, trust me; it is always difficult; just, try to make the best, and enjoy the day if possible.

Hoping for the best.

Thanks guys. I wasn't trying to get sympathy, just wanting everyone to know what has been going on and why I am not always here everyday. I do try though, its one of the things that help me unwind and release stress, so thanks for listening.

Spent time at my moms helping get her house ready for Thanksgiving. We are doing the holiday here at my house, but then my sister and her kids (grown) and their kids will be up this weekend. So having 2 thanksgivings. Different days.

Freezing rain is supposed to start in a few hours. I hope it bypasses us, not looking forward to that mess. Temp has been in upper 30's last 2 days, so snow almost gone! :D

Wind has been howling all night and will continue today along with an impressive line of storms.
After it all blows out there will be colder temps and snow.
It looks to be lining up as a Thanksgiving storm for the east coast.
Weather has gotten in a big hurry!

Well put Sue!

Cooler here for T-day, 66; cool for FL; and cooler for Black Friday. I'll stay in this year. I hope there isn't a T-day storm. Too many people traveling.

Nice here today; just a spritz of rain yesterday, very cloudy; but, warm. 79 today too ... but, going down hill this week.
That's fine, at least it feels like fall.
