As long as you don't add too much fuel when it dips it shouldn't go too high.
Already own an "Ivation" and know how to use it Sue! The winds went from dead calm to 25 mph or over and any fire is hard to control at that speed. The trouble was not too high a temp but the low end. I gave it 2.5 hours of a heavy apple wood smoke and now have it in the oven.
I have a hard time getting in and out the door with my disability and going out enery 15 minutes was not cutting it!

I have had Zazz bookmarked for quite a while but, as my life got very complicated, I never got around to joining until today when I was looking for advice from fellow "Chefs". ( I will post the question in the appropriate forum) I look forward to being an active part of the community.

Nice day here, cloudy but high 70's; but, rain moving, in and cooling for T-day. My friend is supposed to be flying down with her family; but the Detroit airport is closed due to ice. Then, they will miss connecting flights. With most flights already booked, they may not make their vacation. The kids are not going to be happy - no Disneyworld. Hopefully they can make it.

A pretty quiet weekend. Cleaning for Holiday decorations; A bit of this and that. Nothing special.
T-day prep is done; which will make for an easy cooking day.

I am cooking 3 other T-day meals for the ladies; but, I am using my friends catering kitchen; so, won't mess up my house,
But, at least their dinners are on different days.

I hit the market today; so, all stocked up for the week. Ready I think.
Football will be on; and, working around the house. Lots to do.

KC I hope your friends make it.

We have our first dusting of snow last night - Doesn't even cover all the ground. Winter is on it's way but not like it is in the Eastern seaboard

I am concerned about the folks in Buffalo as they are supposed to have temps near 60F on Monday. There is going to be some bad flooding there.
Bill said the Buffalo Bills got their football game moved to another area.

We still have a bit of snow here but it is melting off slowly. This part of Ohio doesn't usually get a lot of snow to begin with, and most of that falls later in January and February.

Sue my friend is in Mansfield. Snow and Ice right now, but slowly melting; then, more rain coming. Crazy weather.

B, thx; last they emailed, they are stuck. They missed the connecting; and, now they can't get on another flight. There vacation in Today through Sat; and, told them, NO flights until THURS. Which means 1 day of vacation. They are seeing about getting reinmbursed. Holiday travel sucks!

Sue, the buffalo game got moved to detroit - dome. But, you can't fly into the airport because it is closed due to ice - where my friend is.
Hopefully it will open up today after the ice is through.

And, yes, best wishes to those in buffalo. Roof collapses and flooding can be a big problem.

Signs of things to come for Buffalo and the rest of us down the road!

Finished my smoked turkey yesterday evening.
Almost got squished by a large branch, if I had not cut the smoke time down!
