Yep. Me too Deely. Gravel roads and miles and miles and miles to the closest kid! They all go to the fire station in town here. They put on a big event and the kids have a blast. At least it is safe for them. But I sure do miss them coming for their candy!

I had a few kids show up but not very many - less than 10 I think. Only 3 knocks on the door, kids in small groups.
My dog is very excited and keeps whimpering by the door hoping more kids will show up. I have to admit it makes me sad when not many kids show up. I have a ton of candy - and I bought all good chocolate stuff. When I used to trick or treat, we'd always ask where the houses were that handed out real chocolate and make sure to stop there. So I always make sure I have stuff I would have wanted as a kid.

Heather, I did that too, till I moved to the boonies. I used to make up bags with 5 or 6 pieces of candy and hand those out.

Well I've had a couple dozen kids so far and I think it's at a tail end. I never do get many kids. I live in an old Italian neighbourhood and I basically get all their grandchildren....
