Today was a normal Sunday for me. Washed clothes! Yaay! Went grocery shopping. OMG spent $170 and didn't get crap. Now I had to buy cat litter, cat food, other not groceries, but still! GEEZE! We had hotwings and fries for supper. It was good, not great. Everyone wanted buffalo but I wanted terriyaki, so maybe thats why I didn't "love" dinner.

It's cold and snowing. Right now its 11 below, and with the windchill 33 below.

They are saying high tomorrow is 10 below. It is going to be so damn cold. Sorry for swearing, but OMG are you kidding me?

Kitten we are definitely in a deep freeze right now! So cold! I just let the dogs out. We have a 3 mos old baby boxer, so cute, but anyway, she just about freezes to death. Hard to train a pup in this cold weather!

Whether it's football, hockey, the weather, or the state of our lives, we all share "what's up" to keep in touch. Lots of things to talk about, really.

I have no idea, for instance, what it's like to live in weather that drops to zero or below. How do you get to work? Other than layers (and layers) of clothing, how do you dress? Why don't the pipes just freeze solid?

Kitten, I'm thanking Mom every day, god rest her soul. She went through Menopause at 49-50, same here. NO anything. She got hot flashes, me. My hair got dark and dry; sleep, horrible; but it always was. But otherwise, NOT much else. It was done and gone in 6 months if that. More like 3 and 3 lingerling months. Thank you MOM. Great traits I inherited. LOL

Remember we are talking Celcius and Farenheit temps here

Kitten's -45 C = -49 F
Dissie's -10 F = -23 C

Whatever Brrrrrrrrr

Thanks Bergy. I never thought of that, but whatever the scale is, it's still cold where some of us are huddled around a steaming cup of tea and a lot warmer in the southern U.S.

Here's a cute thermometer to translate temps.
